Awesome Fruit Juice - Made in Terengganu

Picture this:- fresh, blended, cold, sweet, yellow, smooth, refreshing, citrus, mango flavor in 1 glass... guess what?? The best mango fruit juice ever!! I tell ya, level of awesomeness tahap 95 beb..

A wise man once told me, a visit to Terengganu is never complete if you didn't drink fruit juice from any stall in Terengganu. Yup, you got that right man..... For me the best fruit juice I ever tasted is at Air Buah Pak San stall located at Seberang Takir, Kuala Terengganu.

Last February, I visited Terengganu again, and of course had supper at this stall and this time with my family. It was already 9 pm but the crowd here is just getting bigger and bigger (last time i checked, the local said there is almost no night life in KT.. hmm what??). After a few minutes of waiting, we finally manage to get a table and start ordering our supper.

I ordered my favorite mango juice & also guava, and the rest ordered sour sop juice and orange juice. They also sell simple dish like laksam (rice mee with coconut milk cooked with fish) laksa, fried keropok lekor, nasi lemak, nasi dagang, nasi minyak and curry mee. There's no ala carte meal like nasi goreng or ikan bakar here though. I guess that's just because they want to focus on their specility :-  fruit juice. So we chose laksam and keropok lekor to go with the fruit juices.

There are many sizes to choose from;- the smallest to regular and to the biggest cup or shall I say mini aquarium? Hehe.. actually the smallest is quite big for me, as if you ordered 'big glass' here in N9. You can order the mini aquarium size if you come in large group and everybody wants to drink the same thing and doesn't mind sharing  :)

The price.. well, I can say it is very reasonable. The range is from RM2.40 to RM25++ depends on the sizes. Sorry I can't provide a lot of photos as I am busy with my kids at that time. Here's one that i managed to snap.

Laksam & Mango Juice

So here's the rating..the best is rated # 1 and followed by the rest..

1] Mango Juice - awesome freshness balanced with the sweet and sour taste of mango. Not sure how many slices of mango they blended, but the thickness is just nice. of course this will be # 1!!

2] Sour Sop juice - nicely done, but I somehow prefer a little bit of slice of sour sop fruit inside the glass.. not all blended together..  the freshness can be tasted though. Not too sweet just the way my parents like it..

3] Orange Juice - a typical OJ with a twist of pulp inside... hmm I wonder how. Balance of citrus and sweetness taste, the sour part comes later.. wallah.. what a refreshing nite..

4] Keropok Lekor - always the best sold in Terengganu, I am not sure whether they produce this themselves or they just buy the raw one from their neighborhood. The dipping sauce is also a star.. but you can eat the keropok on it's own, taste good as well.

5] Laksam - for my liking, the laksam here was OK. Tasted a better one somewhere in Port Dickson.. but I like the portion, it is not too heavy for supper, too light for dinner..


So next time you're in Terengganu, don't forget to stop by Air Buah Gelas Besar Pak San - Pak San Big Glass Fruit Juice (directnya translation aku) for the level 95 of awesomeness.. Order mango if you have the same taste as mine, other fruit juice won't disappoint you as well..

Just follow the sign board to Kuala Terengganu airport, and Seberang Takir. You won't missed the colorful and bright stall located by the road just before the juction to Kem Seberang Takir. There will be a lot of stall selling Big Glass Fruit Juice but look out for Pak San's stall..
